1. Black-Red Ginseng vs. Ordinary Red Ginseng
During the process for making red ginseng, 20~30% of the sap of raw ginseng leaks out by steaming heat. This leakage (exudation) is inevitable in the regular methods and results in saponin loss.

Also the steaming process is not merely for heating raw ginseng but for biochemical reactions to create unique saponins of red ginseng, and thus it is very sensitive procedure determining quality levels-contents and composition of saponins. This biochemical aspect has not being reflected properly in traditional methods. We found that three major factors - temperature, time and water contents of raw ginseng - determine the steaming condition, and have succeeded in effective controlling of the factors.

Using a precise method, we make superior red ginseng under the optimal condition without any exudation. Our method includes a multi-control procedure which leads precisely the correlation of ‘temperature↔time↔water' toward the optimal. We do not just steam all through like others. Our method and its products have been patented in Korea.

2. Cell Wall Disruption Technology
Each plant cell is inside a rigid room, which is called cell wall equivalent to animal bone. The wall is constructed mainly from cellulose that is indigestible to human, so the beneficial nutrients in plant cytoplasm do not easily come out from the room. The goal of this technology, processing each minute plant cell, is to let the captured phytonutrients be released out and be absorbed easily into human body. This technology overcomes the limits-solubility & concentration gradient -of extraction method, and realizes All & Whole Nutrition.

3. Why don't we use Extraction Method?
Existing of plant cell wall calls two fundamental limits on extraction phenomenon itself. So, no extraction method can be free from the limits.

The first is Solubility. Water is generally used as solvent to extract botanical ingredients, so the water-insolubles are seldom extracted. All the plants contain evenly water-soluble and water-insoluble ingredients. There is no organism composed of only water-solubles in the nature. Regardless of the sort of solvent, therefore, the extracted are always to be one-side biased due to solubility. This is a qualitative limit of extraction.

The second is Concentration Gradient. Substances move from the high to the low concentration along the slope of gradient. As time goes on, the slope decreases. If the concentration equilibrium comes at last, the extraction ceases. One can extract just the amount which is permitted by gradient versus equilibrium. This means a quantitative limit of extraction.
