NT & BT Co., Ltd. began from 1996 as a special company dealing with red ginseng and now has grown to a high-tech venture company. Since 2000, we have studied various steaming conditions for making good red ginseng. Our goal was to analyze the complicated biochemical progress during the steaming, and to trace how the behaviors of the individual factors were related to the progress, and eventually to derive the optimal condition for red ginseng manufacturing.
Recently we succeeded in effective multi-control of major factors and now produce new red ginseng, Black-Red Ginseng, which has more saponin contents. This method has been patented in Korea in 2005, and was awarded a silver medal in the Div. of Sci. of INPEX 2006.
We also studied fields of digestion and absorption and have developed 'Cell Wall Disruption medicinal nanotechnology.' By this technology, the plant cell walls, indigestible in human, are opened and the active ingredients of medicinal herbs are released totally into human digestive tract. Jumping over the limits -concentration gradient and solubility - of extraction method, this technology increases absorption rate twice as much, so that it raises nutritional value of medicinal herbs.
We now export 'Korean Black-Red Ginseng' products to U.S., and want to launch another worldwide markets.
